A small Ohio studio quietly helping busy households eat better.
We started with a single weekly worksheet shared between friends. It became a method, then a practice.
Built by people who also forget what is in the fridge.
Whrixxennlix began in a Lyndhurst kitchen in 2019. Two co-founders, both juggling full work calendars and small kids, kept hitting the same Wednesday wall: the fridge looked full but nothing felt like dinner.
We started writing down the simple loop we kept reinventing — inventory, two base meals, one organized list — and shared it with friends. Within a year it had become a real practice with paying clients. Today our small team helps households across the United States build a quieter relationship with weeknight food.
Four values that show up in every plan we build
Realistic over perfect
If a plan does not survive a hard Tuesday, it is not a real plan. We design for ordinary weeks.
Pantry first
We use what is already at home before adding anything new to the cart. Less waste, smaller bills.
Calm over hype
No shouty rules, no scary lists of forbidden foods. Just steady habits that fit your household.
Local context matters
Plans reflect what is actually in season at Ohio markets and what your nearby store carries this month.
A short timeline of the studio
The first worksheet
One pdf shared between friends becomes the original weekly planning template.
First paying households
Word-of-mouth brings in our first eight client households across northeast Ohio.
Studio opens in Lyndhurst
We open a small office on Richmond Road and add a second planner to the team.
Across the country
Today our planners support more than 1,200 weekly meal plans for households nationwide.
